June 18! June 18! the trip is on June 18! It’s our only one, awesome trip! We went on Ellis Island and the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH)!!! On Ellis Island, we went to see the GREAT HALL, which is not so “big and great”. Then we went to see the inspection rooms, and check-ups and their awful beds. At 1:20 we rode the ferry back to Battery Park, NY, NY. Then we whooshed to 79th street to the AMNH. It took 20 stops on the subway to get to 79th St. When we reached 79th street, Eowyn got left behind on the subway, but that’s another story (she quite quickly got reunited with the class). Okay, we walked and walked to the AMNH and then I found out that we are way behind schedule. We were supposed to arrive at the AMNH at 1:00, but because of the problems, we arrived at 2:30. So we hurried up to the IMAX theater to watch “Dinosaurs Alive”. Then the whole class or group spread out to different exhibits. We went to the Pacific thing, national environments, human origins, dinosaurs in the Triassic Period, the Grand Gallery, and more. It was fun!!
