NYC-Ellis Island-and Ferry——————————–Lillian

“Come on, let’s go up!” my dad said for the fourth time.

“Oh, fine, let me see if Sarah, Maggie, and Eleanor want to, while we are stopped.”

We were on the ferry (going to Ellis Island) and while the boat was “parked” in front of the Statue of Liberty we decided to go on the roofless top floor. We took a lot of pictures and screamed and waved at other ferries. When  we finally got to Ellis Island we were ready to go inside. We walked around the huge Great Hall, and then up to the display off the balcony with the grimy teeny-tiny bunk beds and disgusting sinks.

In the gift shop I didn’t see anything I liked except for these really pretty (expensive) masks.

The thing that I really wanted to do was broken.

Wahhhhhhhhh!

Maybe I will go again.
