Gianina—NYS salt dough maps

We do the salt dough maps in the box. First, we bring our own salt dough. We made the dough with 4cups of flour,1 cups of salt, and  1½ of water. Add the water at a time when the dough is ran out of water. Then we mix the dough with our hands. We mix it about 4 to 5 minutes. When I make the dough, I put the water all of them! I suppose to put the water at a time when the dough is ran out of water. So I add another flour in it. But it’s totally not 4 to 5 minutes to make it! After that, I bring my dough to school. I get a box. Ms Sholtys gave us a NYS tracer. Then we write where the river or lake were, the mountains, and the other place. Then I put a dough on it. On November 14 , we paint the NYS salt maps . We get the evaluation key. Then we paint the maps with brown, orange, and green.
